  • Difficult to breath
  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Wheezing

Home remedies for cough :

  • Fry garlic in ghee and mix hot white rice to it and eat.This relieves cough.
  • Soak almond nuts in water overnight and grind it to make a paste and mix with a honey. Consume this paste 3 times/day for 3 days.
  • Drink ginger tea to relieve cough.
  • Mix onion juice with little honey and take 2 times a day for 3 days
  • ½ tablespoon of ginger paste, ½ tablespoon of  tulsi juice to 1 tablespoon of honey mix and consume this mixture for  3 days.
  • Mix ½ tablespoon of ginger, ½ tablespoon of pepper and 1 tablespoon of honey and take this mixture twice daily for 2-3 days. Ginger is very effective in treating cough.
  • Mix ½ tablespoon of pepper powder and ½ tablespoon of turmeric powder  to hot milk and drink. This loosens secretion and relieves cough.
  • Drink mint tea with a pinch of salt which relieves cough.
  • Chewing betal leaf relieves cough.

Prevention of cough :

  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • Take good rest
  • Breathe fresh air
  • Avoid exposure to smoke, perfumes, paints, pollen and pollutants
  • Have spicy foods
